Google Analytics, Not
This is another retread subject, and not knowing the answer to this makes me realize that I must be missing something very fundamental in spite of having built a whole site w Mambo.
Google Analytics provides a javascript snippet and the instructions are to paste it just before the </body> tag on each page one wants to track. The Mambo Admin tools for viewing / creating content do not display the page html to the level of head, title and body tags, so where does one accomplish this?

Re: Google Analytics, Not
Are you able to download and edit the index.php file in the Mambo root directory? If so, you can pop it in using a plain text editor, upload the file to overwrite/replace the original, and you should be in business.

Re: Google Analytics, Not
You need to put that snippet in the index.php of your template file. You can edit the HTML right in the Mambo interface just go to Site>Template Manager>Site Templates, then chose the template you want to edit and click "Edit HTML".
That should get you where you need. |
