Resolved don't show users, don't show modules and a lot of questions

Hello everybody,
i have a huge list of problems with my Mambo 4.6.2. in german (i attempt to write good english)and i need someone to help me. i have searched for this themes but i don't find exactly answers of my questions.

don't show registered users
i see nobody of my registered users. in my mysql database they are available, but i don't see it in my admin panel.

don't show modules
how can i see which modules i have installed? the module in german works correctly but where is my domit v 1.1? in the module list contains only the standart modules. (same problem like the user-list)

the administration-folders are writable!

and some questions:
- where can i placed the calendar (jcal pro) in my template?
- i create a own template, can i delete some areas with a php code?
- can i change the position of the mainmenu?
- i change the standart layout, where saves mambo this settings? can add a new template, with this settings?

sorry, but i hope anyone can help me.

AndreasK,

The first thing you need to do is upgrade to the latest version of Mambo. Click the Download tab above to find the upgrade patch.

You'll find answers to these questions, and other explanations, in the Mambo Manual. Click the Support tab above and you'll see a link to the manual in the left column. Be sure to use the menus on the left and right of the page when viewing the manual. Let us know if something isn't clear.

Re: don't show users, don't show modules and a lot of questions

I found a lot of things in the manual.
But i have still the problem, because i see no one in my user list. They are registrated and they have an email to thier login. But they are not in my list in the admin panel.

Re: don't show users, don't show modules and a lot of questions

Sorry, I was just trying to deal with the easy issues first. I don't know what might be causing the problem with users not showing up in your admin panel. You could try using the Search feature above to look for prior discussions on this subject.

Re: don't show users, don't show modules and a lot of questions

ok, all of my questions are solved with the mambo release 4.6.5.
registered users and modules are now visible.
  • module positions can be edited in Modules -> Usermodules ->click on Mainmenu -> Moduledisposal -> for example on rightcol
  • look at the menumanagement -> click on the icons menupoints for numeric listing disposal
everything is clear now.
