Seeing the site when offline
I had found a couple of topics about the offline feature in this forum but are closed to new posts, therefore I hope I'm posting under the right place.
My question is if there is an option for admins of being able to see the site even if it is offline. I'm doing as I read in another similar topic recommending to be logged-in as Super Admin into both the front an back ends at the same time, but without any success, it is still not visible to the Super Admin neither way. Is there a workaround for this? Last edited by fjavier; 30-11-2009 at 03:10 PM. |

Re: Seeing the site when offline
A simple workaround would be to password protect the Mambo directory. I do that with test/development sites I don't want visible to anyone else. To make it visible again, just remove the password protection from the directory.
