save component - comment

Hi

I have looked through the forum and seen similar problems and solutions but my one is a little different.

I want to disable comments only for static content. In components > comment > edit settings I disable static content and that all goes fine. But on saving the heading says "setting saved" but stays on the edit setting page without exiting the page. all other content, componets it the page and normally return to the menu. The comment setting is not saved. All the other components (banners, contacts and banners) seem to be working and saving properly including components > comment > view comments so not sure if it is the permissions or a bug or an error exclusive to my site. My site is hosted by a 3rd party so not sure about all the settings.

Any thoughts?
